How the yes or no wheel works
- Think of a yes-or-no question, or type it somewhere you'll see it.
- Spin the wheel, or fling it with your finger.
- It lands on Yes or No with equal chances. Add “Maybe” or more slices if you want.
Is it really 50/50?
Every result comes from your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), the same source used for security keys. The animation is just for fun: the outcome is drawn first and the physics is solved to land on it, so no option is favored.
With two slices, Yes and No each have exactly a one-in-two chance.
The trick that makes it useful
Notice how you feel the moment the wheel stops. If you're relieved, that's your answer. If you're disappointed and want to spin again, you already knew what you wanted. The wheel just helped you find out.
